PHOTOGRAPHER'S JOURNAL: Be careful what you wish for, you early, chilly birds. Spring is a sweety but summer is a joker who arrives with the solstice and ever-waning days.
We were at the Bargello in FLorence, but I had to look up in Wiki what Bargello needlepoint is - an interesting and apt comparison. Glad you like the picture.
I've been making photographs since childhood. Photography has become a way for me to explore the place I live and places I visit, but I know there's much to be seen in my own back yard. My favorite travel is through time.
This blog is a discipline and challenge to myself. However, I always welcome hearing how these posts touch those who visit.

I love this! There is an intricate shading effect that is reminiscent of Bargello needlepoint.

Great photo! I like the reflections.
Thanks, Tim. It helps that the frog was large.
Great catch! And the frog...
Just to reassure all, the frog was neither caught nor eaten. Thanks for your visit, Trotter.
Eaten? We are happy just with snails/escargots... ;)
What, no frogs legs?
Love this picture, it's like a painting
Thanks for stopping by, Dick.
