I too have a garret of old playthings.
I have tin soldiers with broken arms upstairs.
I have a wagon and the wheels gone upstairs.
I have guns and a drum, a jumping-jack and a magic lantern.
And dust is on them and I never look at them upstairs.
I too have a garret of old playthings.

Hi Ted! Like I suspected, it's getting better and better!!
Blogtrotter is waiting for you in London! Enjoy and have a great holiday season!
You must like wallpaper that looks like Xmas wrapping. Thanks for the comments. This series has been especially fun to work on. One more to go.
The question:
How long are parents required to store the playthings of children?
How long should children remain annoyed at parents for disposing of those playthings?
Oh how I would love to have a place to store those items, but alas, no eyebrow window, no storage room, no oak floor.
...and can I both be annoyed at my parents for the good stuff they dumped when I went off to college and at my children for the stuff they have not cleared from my house. 'Tis a puzzlement.
