Today Bob LeJeune and I went shooting (pictures!) in NYC. We are both native, "city boys," but we managed to find places in midtown we'd never visited before.
a very well seen 'piece of art' you are really sharp in seing those views... was this 'under a road'? You think its water but I ma not too sure of that.... maybe get closer, or jump down?
Noh better not try that!
BTW;) I leave for a week to paris for my birthday ,and our 20th anniversary, I left a slideshow from my last nature-works, Leaving-leaves, please take a look,
Have a good trip. Congrats on your 20th. As to water vs. oil, I actually had not considered oil when I saw it. It certainly is clear. I'm not going down to check. I'll check your slide show.
I've been making photographs since childhood. Photography has become a way for me to explore the place I live and places I visit, but I know there's much to be seen in my own back yard. My favorite travel is through time.
This blog is a discipline and challenge to myself. However, I always welcome hearing how these posts touch those who visit.

Nice photo, is it water? It sees like oil.
I couldn't get close to it, but I'm pretty sure it was just water, but it was well placed beneath the West Side Drive in Manhattan.
