As my latest post tries to explain, I'm not sure that what I mean by, "caught my eye," is identical with what I think is meant by "subject." <BR/><BR/>The thing that stopped me might be a cloud with character but the subject of the photo may be the house on the hill. This example oversimplifies, but the issue is in being sure to notice that the house doesn't look so haunted after the dark cloud has passed. <BR/><BR/>Yes, that's observation.
